ShopsMat respects your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our websites and services. By using our websites and services you agree to our collection and use of your information as described in this privacy policy.
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect or receive, how we may use that information and how you can manage your information. The information we collect includes personal information and non-personal information, as such terms are defined below.
Our Privacy Policy also describes the measures we take to protect the security of the personal information. We also tell you how you can reach us to ask us to (i) access, change or not use the personal information you have provided to us, (ii) withdraw any consent you previously provided to us, and (iii) answer any questions you may have about our privacy practices.

The terms “us”, “we”, and “our” refer to ShopsMat, Our website (www.shopsmat.com), and the owner of this Website. A “Visitor” is someone who merely browses our website. A “Member” is someone who has registered with our website. The term “User” is a collective identifier that refers to either a Visitor or a Member.

By using our website and services, you consent to the collection and use of this information by us as set forth in our Privacy Statement and amended from time to time. If we decide to change our privacy practices, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always kept informed of what data we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. 3. Our Collection and Use of Personal Information

We collect all information you provide.  This includes your account information when you create an account in ShopsMat.  As a user of ShopsMat, you have the ability to select services, choose phrases, enter text into available text boxes, message on the platform, input registration and payment details, and select various options and a host of other possibilities.  We collect all of this content that you select and provide when you use this website.  We also collect information about how you use our website, such as the type of content, frequency of use and duration of your activities.

The personal information we collect from you varies depending on the service you use, and how you access our website. However, the personal information you provide generally may include the following:
Full name, date of birth, country of residence, email address, telephone number ( users can choose not to verify their telephone number in the user profile), nationality, Credit Card information(by payment processing platform), business and residence address( this is collected during creation of service selling profile), qualification(optional) Social media ID for verification purpose;
Information about your activity on and interaction with www.shopsmat.com (such as your IP address, the type of device or browser you use, and your actions on the site); and
Communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions or comments, or report a problem).

We collect this information for reasons such as:
We use this information to enhance our services to you by understanding how you use our website.

We do analyze the information we collect to develop improved services, new products or features.  

We use your information to contact you and/or respond to your inquiries.

We use the information we collect from you and information we obtain about you to improve our advertising and categorization of data for analytical purposes.

We analyze all incoming and outgoing data to evaluate and improve our products and services.  

Direct Marketing - Contacting our users from time to time for offers, advertising purposes, etc at reasonable intervals. We also send information about our products, services and promotions of which you can opt out from such direct marketing.

We also collect non-personal information − data in a form that does not permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use and process non-personal information for service improving purposes. For example, when you use our website, we may collect data from and about the “commercial electronic mail messages” and “transactional or relationship messages” (as such terms are defined in the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. 7702 et. seq.) that are sent to your email accounts. We collect such commercial transactional messages so that we can better understand the behavior of the senders of such messages, and better understand new spam techniques to improve our products and services. 

 

4. Information Collected by Automated Means

We may obtain certain personal and non-personal information by automated means when you visit our sites. The type of information we collect by automated means may vary, but generally includes technical information about your device, such as IP address or other device identifier. The information we collect also may include usage information and statistics about your interaction with our websites. That information may include the URLs of our web pages that you visited, URLs of referring and exiting pages, page views, time spent on a page, number of clicks, platform type, and other information about how you used our websites.
In cases where you use a mobile device to access our sites, we will receive information about the location of your device but we do not collect location information. In some cases, even if you are not using a mobile device, information about your general location may be discernible from your device’s IP address or the URLs we receive. 
We use information we collect by automated means to understand our users and to determine their preferences. As a result, we can develop and deliver new or modified products and services, which are improved with our users’ preferences in mind.

We Do Not Track Browser Signals.
ShopsMat website and services do not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include “do not track” instructions. However, you may be able to change your privacy preferences regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies through your browser, as described above.


5. How We Protect Personal Information

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. 
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:
With vendors, customer system managers and other service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or providing Services to you, so long as those third parties agree to keep this information confidential in accordance with EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR");
Your credit card information is directly processed by secure third-party payment processing company; we do not have direct access to this information or have it stored. This information is subject to the privacy policy of the third-party payment processing company.
In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation or legal process;
If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of ShopsMat or others;
In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; and
With your consent or at your direction.

Sharing with third party companies

We work with third party companies who use advertising or related products, which makes it possible to operate and provide free services to you.  We may provide or sell to these third parties the information you provide including  PII (Personally identifiable information) about you that enables any ShopsMat third party partner to contact you using your name or email address given to us by you when signing up for an ShopsMat account. Any sale of your information requires your consent and permission.  Any information gathered by ShopsMat about you outside of what you personally have provided may be used for analytical purposes, but will not be shared to any company outside of ShopsMat without your permission. 

Sharing with Infrastructure Vendors, Service Providers and Other Partners

We transfer information to vendors, service providers and other partners that support the ShopsMat website infrastructure.  This information is used to help us provide technical infrastructure services or analyze how our services are used.  We also measure the effectiveness of ads and services, provide customer service and conduct research and surveys. 


Sharing with the public

Certain information you provide us or upload to our website such as photos, videos, text, music, reviews that users publish on the site are no longer private. You consent to our sharing of such contents you provide which we don't consider to be personal identifiable information.


Marketing and Promotion Tools

We do make use of tools, platforms and software to market and promote our service and service providers’ service outside ShopsMat, some of these softwares, tools or platforms may expose usernames and partial contents of users, you agree that ShopsMat is not responsible for such exposure or safety of such information.

Selling Company Ownership
If the ownership or control of all or part of ShopsMat changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.


7. Your CHOICES

You have choice over how we use and disclose your personal information. For example, we will ask you before we use your personal information for any purpose incompatible with those purposes identified in this notice. 
You can also choose not to give us the information we request, as described in the “Information You Provide to Us” section of this notice. In some cases, if you decide not to provide information, we will not be able to provide you with access to some services and web pages, features or information you requested. You can also stop or limit the information we collect by automated means. Please review the sections of this Notice titled “Information Collected by Automated Means” to learn more about how you may be able to stop or limit our receipt of that information. 
You are also provided the ability to access, update and request deletion of certain information we have about you however, we have no control over personal information you consented to our sharing or you have shared with any third party or those that have ended up on a third party’s device. Please submit your request by sending an email to the address specified in the “How to Contact Us” section below. Please include your name, email address and postal address in your request so that we may respond appropriately and promptly. You may also exercise and amend your choices by sending an email to us as specified in the “How to Contact Us” section below.

8. Your RIGHTS UNDER EU GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

The GDPR provides you rights to the follow:
Accuracy
 You can request for correction of personal information that we hold about you. This allows you to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information we hold about you either through setting on the website or by contacting us (see contact us section).
Deletion
You can request deletion of your personal information we hold about you. This enables you to ask us to erase or remove personal information if you feel there is no good reason for us to retain or process such personal information or where you have exercised your right to object to processing.
Objection 
You have the right to object to your personal information being processed for direct marketing purposes. At your sole discretion you can also object to your personal information being processed where we are rely on a legitimate interest or interest of a third party.
Restriction
You can restrict your information from being processed by sending us a restriction or suspension.
Transfer
You can request us to transfer your personal information to another party in certain formats, if practicable.
Complain
You have the right to make a complaint to a supervisory body. In Italy, you can contact The Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) through their website https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home_en

 

9. Retention of Your Data

It is our legal obligation to retain accurate data and only retain personal data for as long as we need it for our legitimate business record or legal interest when applicable. We segregate our data so that we keep different types of data for different time periods. When applicable we will delete part or all of your personal data from our main Customer Relationship Management System however, we may also archive part or all of your personal data or retain it on our financial systems even if your account is closed. In order to retain your personal data we may have to pseudonymise parts of your data, particularly following a request for deletion or suppression of your data. We create Pseudonymised Data by taking identifying fields within a database and replacing them with artificial identifiers or ‘pseudonyms’.
The criteria we use to determine whether we should retain your personal data for as long as necessary include:
The nature of the personal data.
Legitimate business operations.
Its perceived accuracy.
Our legal obligations in cases of request from public authorities.


10. Children’s Privacy

ShopsMat does not direct its websites to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a user who is under the age of thirteen, we will delete the information from our records.

11. Updates to Our Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to you to reflect changes in our information practices or relevant laws. We will indicate at the top of the Notice when it was updated. Please review this Notice any time you access or use our sites to make sure you have reviewed the most recent version.
